Jotform alternative

A Jotform alternative for lead forms that run on paid ads

Jotform is a big, capable product: it says it is trusted by over 40 million users, and it does far more than forms[1]. Where it pinches is the limits on each plan.

On the free Starter plan you get 100 submissions and 10,000 form views a month, 5 forms and 500 stored submissions in total, with Jotform branding[1]. When you reach any monthly limit, Jotform disables your forms until the next reset or an upgrade[2]. Every plan below Enterprise is for one user, and the first paid plan, Bronze, costs $39 a month or $34 a month billed yearly[1].

This page is for a narrower reader: someone sending paid traffic to a lead form or quiz funnel. Below is where Formglide is the better fit, where Jotform is, and who should stay put. Every Jotform figure was checked on 10 October 2026 and links to its source.

Where Formglide fits better

When the form is part of an ad funnel

Your form sits behind paid ads

On Jotform, reaching any monthly limit (submissions, form views or payments) disables your forms until the reset or an upgrade, and every visitor who opens the form uses a view. A form that switches off mid-campaign still costs you every click your ads buy.[2]

Formglide forms never shut off for volume. On Free, responses past 500 a month are stored and released the moment you upgrade. Pro and Agency have unlimited responses under a published fair-use policy.

You need Meta to see every lead

Jotform's help centre shows a Facebook Pixel widget that runs in the visitor's browser, and its own guide notes ad blockers can stop it. We found no built-in server-side Conversions API.[4]

From Pro, Formglide sends the Meta Pixel in the browser and a server-side Conversions API Lead event on every completed form, deduplicated, plus GA4 lead events. UTM and hidden-field capture work on every plan.

You want to test one form against another

We found no built-in A/B test in Jotform. Its own guide builds a control form and an experimental form and embeds them on separate pages, so the split and the reporting happen somewhere else.[5]

Formglide's A/B testing is built in from Pro: publish two variants, visitors get a 50/50 split, and the conversion report shows which one wins. Per-step drop-off analytics and partial-submission capture come with it.

You run quiz funnels and multi-step lead forms

Both tools can show one question at a time. The difference is what the funnel is built around.[7]

Formglide's scored quizzes use per-answer scoring and score-range endings, and branching logic is on every plan, Free included. Choose one question at a time or classic multi-question pages for each form.

More than one person works on the forms

Every Jotform plan below Enterprise is a single-user plan.[1]

Every Formglide plan, including Free, lets you invite as many teammates as you like, with no per-seat fee. Agency adds a separate workspace for each client, with your logo on the forms.

On price: Formglide's Free plan is £0 with 500 responses a month, Pro is £29 a month and Agency is £79 a month, with two months free on annual billing. The full list of what each plan includes, and the fair-use policy, is on the pricing page.

Where Jotform fits better

What Jotform does that we don't

Formglide is new and deliberately narrow. These are real reasons to choose Jotform, from its own pages.

Integrations

Jotform lists 200+ integrations, from CRMs like HubSpot and Salesforce to email tools like Mailchimp. Formglide has signed webhooks, Slack, email notifications and Google Sheets. If your workflow depends on a native connector, check it before you switch.[6]

Payments

Jotform connects to many payment processors, including Stripe, PayPal and Square, and its free plan takes 10 payment submissions a month.[6],[1] Formglide payments are Stripe only, on Pro and Agency.

Health data and enterprise needs

Jotform offers HIPAA features on Gold and Enterprise, and SSO, data residency and service level agreements on Enterprise. Formglide holds no certifications and is not built for health data.[1]

Breadth and a longer refund window

Jotform is far more than a form builder: its menu covers PDF forms, e-signatures, tables, apps and AI agents. It offers a 30-day money-back guarantee (ours is 14 days) and 50% off Bronze, Silver and Gold for nonprofits and schools.[1]

Honest advice

Who should stay on Jotform

  • You collect health data and need HIPAA features.
  • Your process depends on a native integration Formglide doesn't have, like a direct CRM connector.
  • You need e-signatures, PDF forms, approvals or an app builder in the same tool.
  • You need SSO, data residency or a service level agreement.
  • You're a nonprofit or school and the 50% discount makes Jotform the cheaper choice.
  • Your forms get fewer than 100 submissions a month, nobody else needs access, and you don't run ads to them. Jotform's free plan may be all you need.

Try it on your next campaign, free

The Free plan needs no credit card. Start from one of our lead form and quiz templates and point a small test campaign at it before you move everything.

One thing to know: our importer reads Typeform forms only. It can't import Jotform forms, so you rebuild each form in Formglide. Starting from a template close to what you have makes that quicker. Keep your Jotform account until the new form has run for a while, and download your Jotform submissions before you close it[2].
